How the CNT HS-11 works

The hydroseparator functions by precisely controlling a laminar water flow combined with wave impulses to simulate the natural separation process that occurs in beach placer deposits.
  • Sample input: Rock samples, often already processed by an EPD machine, are introduced into a glass separation tube.
  • Density separation: Heavy mineral particles, such as gold, platinum-group minerals, and zircons, settle to the bottom of the tube. Lighter material is carried by the water flow to the top and is removed from the system.
  • Contamination-free process: The controlled flow system ensures a “clean” separation, preventing cross-contamination between samples.
  • Complete recovery: The design guarantees that no fine mineral grains or particles are lost during the process.
